Prior to approval, all such proposed signs must be reviewed for potential issues by the Transportation Department, which will not allow signs to be approved over the counter. CA 92008 To whom it may concern: SIMA MANA(;EMENT CORPORATION This letter is to advise the City of Carlsbad that Village Faire's tenant "Gonzo Ramcn'", located at 300 Carlsbad Village Drive, suite 201 /\. is requesting new exterior signagc at Vi llage Faire facing Carlsbad Blvd and the shopping center interior. Gonzo Ramen is located at the only entrance on the west side of the shopping center. Additionally, it's location is a significant distance for the public right of way. The size of the sign and the visibility of the sign are critical fo r the aesthetics of Village Faire shopping center along Carlsbad Blvd. Since this entrance is an important location Go nzo Ramcn should be considered a "major" tenant as per our sign criteria.
