With its state-of-the-art 32 bit RISC processor, this compact 'panel on a board" provides a powerful addition to Gamewell- FCI's single pair conductor solutions. This intuitive design provides two (2), signaling line circuits, two (2), notification application circuits, local energy city box output, auxiliary relay functions, and auxiliary power output. These fea- tures, combined with built-in network and serial protocols, allow this module to support a host of new and existing products, resulting in a building block approach to the fire alarm panel design. The ILl-MB-E3 is network ready and occupies one of sixty- four (64), nodes operating at 625K baud. In addition, the • Addressable Node Expander (ANX) board expands the network to one hundred and twenty-two (122) nodes. When this sub-assembly is integrated with proven Broad- band components, the result is a flexible yet powerful inte- grated audio solution. When transmitting to remote locations, the optional RPT-E3 provides the ILI-MB-E3 with valuable signal boosting and transient protection, as well as connectivity using both wire and fiber-optic cables. The ILI-MB-E3 provides two (2), signaling line circuits and terminals for the connections to up to 159 detectors and 159 modules per SLC in Velociti®. In CLIPTM mode, each SLC supports 99 detectors and 98 modules. The RS-485 interface can support up to a total of six (6) LCD-E3 mod- ules, sixteen (16) ASM-16, and/or sixteen (16), ANU-48 remote LED driver modules. The lLl-MB-E3 relay outputs include system alarm, super- visory, and system trouble contacts. The lLI-MB-E3 pro- vides output for a local energy city master box or remote location which is non power-limited. All other wiring is power-limited. CLIP is a trademark of System Sensor. FIRE CONTROL INSTRUMENTS 1200 Retrofit Kits by Honeywell Description The Gamewell-FCI,7200 Retrofit Kits provide a simple way to convert the existing 7200 CAB B and CAB C systems to the new state-of-the-art E3 Series® fire alarm control panel. The Retrofit Kits offer a cost-effective solution to upgrade the FCI 7200 legacy panels without replacing the existing backbox secured on the wall. This solution eliminates the expensive cost of repairing walls, buying new cabinets or replacing the existing FCI 7200 backbox. All retrofit kits provide backplates that mount directly into the FCI 7200 backbox. Each backplate includes mounting patterns to allow an easy installation of the E3 Series plates and sub-assemblies. A new inner door includes slots for the following components: LCD-E3 panel display • Addressable switch buttons LED drivers • Paging microphone The black outer door completes the kit with new locks. The FCI 7200 KDU remote annunciator plate is an add-on option for the Retrofit Kits. This retrofit option allows you to reuse the existing backbox to retrofit the FCI 7200's KDU remote annunciators to accommodate an E3 Series sup- ported annunciator. Retrofitting is a cost-effective way to upgrade your facilities' fire alarm control panel without swapping out smoke detec- tors and notification devices. Upgrading your legacy FCI 7200 System to the Gamewell-FCI, E3 Series System con- verts your fire alarm system, so that it is compliant with the most current UL® and NFPA codes and standards. Installation To retrofit from a FCI 7200 panel to an E3 Series System, refer to the following time-saving steps which can save a lot in setup and labor costs. Remove all field wiring from the 7200 sub-assemblies that are installed inside the cabinet. Note: GW-FCI recommends labeling all wiring that is removed for quicker terminating. Unscrew the 7200 mounting plate from the backbox and remove sub-assemblies. Remove the 7200 front door. Install the new retrofit mounting plate for E3 Series- sub-assemblies or plates. Install the new E3 Series panels and connect with the existing wiring. Auto configure the system or custom program the E3 Series. .
