Verify that the end sprinkler on each branch line is provided with vertical restraint, per NFPA-
13, section 9.3.6.3. This can be waived if the hanger rods supporting that pipe are not in excess
of 6" long, when between the top of the pipe and the point of attachment to the building
structure.
Verify that lateral restraint of the branch lines is provided at spacing matching that required in
NFPA-13 table 9.3.6.4 (attached), based on a Cp value of 0.70 (used for seismic brace
calculations). This also can be waived if the hanger rods supporting that pipe are not in excess
of 6" long, when between the top of the pipe and the point of attachment to the building
structure.
Since the available static pressure is in excess of 100 psi, and the branch lines do supply
sprinklers to drops below a ceiling, verify that any armover, 12" or longer, is provided with a
hanger, per NFPA-13, section 9.2.3.5.2.1.
