If using door holders, you do not need to consider door holder current for alarm/battery standby, because power is removed during that time. However, during normal operation, door holders draw current and must be included in the 2.5A total alarm current (1.OA for all other conditions) that can be drawn from the panel. Use next size battery with capacity greater than required. SK-Beam-T draws a maximum of 500rnA from auxiliary power only when the test feature is used. This should be considered when detennining auxiliary power capacity but not calculated into current requirements for day to day operation. The SK-Duct housing contains a vacant mount for a SK-Relay (sold separately). Current draw for the SK-Relay is calculated by increasing the SK-Relay row of the calculation sheet by one for each SK-Relay used with a SK-Duct. The FACP can only support 5 devices w/LED's on. This current draw has been added to the panels alarm current. 24 6700 Manual - P/N LS10148-001SK-E::C 09/28/2017 CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY & FIRE PROTECTION r.1 OFFICE OF THE STATE FIRE MARSHAL FIRE ENGINEERING - BUILDING MATERIALS LISTING PROGRAM LISTING SERVICE LISTING No. 7165-0559:0501 Page 1 of 2 CATEGORY: 7165.- FIREALARM CONTROL UNIT (COMMERCIAL) LISTEE: SILENT KNIGHT SECURITYOne Fire-Lite Place, Northford, CT 06472-1653 Contact: Megan Sisson (203) 484-6544 Fax (203) 484-7309 Email: megan.sissonhoneyweII.com DESIGN: Silent Knight Model 6700, Fire Alarm Control Unit, automatic, manual, local, remote station (PPU), central station (PPU), releasing (water deluge only). *The CELL-MOD and CELL-CAB-SK have the option to be configured by a compatible control unit for the following - pathways: Cellular only without a backup path, primary Cellular communication path, or secondary Cellular communication path. Fire Engineering Division TG7FS LTE CELLULA1 ALARM c 0 M ityl, u N 1 C A : o FO LTE NETWORKS TELGUARD AMETEK By being able to signal failures to the central station within sixty minutes of an outage, the TG-7FS LTE can be installed as the sole path for commercial fire installations. For existing installations, all landlines can be swapped for a single TG-7FS LIE because of the available five- or sixty-minute supervision modes. In Canada, a 180-second supervision setting is available. t COMMERCIAL FIRE PRODUCT FEATURES Certified for use on the AT&T or Verizon LTE networks for sunset-free installations. ' Meets UL 864 requirements for sole, primary or backup path communications. Minimizes false alarms by providing dual paths for self-tests. The lelguard TG-7FS LTE is the ideal cellular alarm communications solution for commercial fire systems. The TG-7FS LTE transmits alarm signals from the fire panel over the digital cellular network to the monitoring station of choice. Compliant with the 2019 and earlier editions of NFPA 72, the TG- 7FS LTE can serve as the sole communication path for the fire alarm system. It replaces all of the landlines currently dedicated to the master control unit. Cellular monitoring generally costs the end user significantly less than a dedicated landline. For each landline replaced with a TG-7FS LTE, the monthly communications bill decreases. The TG-7FS LTE can also be installed as a backup path and upgraded to sole path at a later date. Fire Engineering Division B200S-LF-WH Low Frequency Sounder Base (White) Standard, Relay, Isolator, Sounder, and Low Frequency Sounder Bases To meet local code and application requirements, Silent Knight® offers standard 4' and 6' bases, as well as specialty base designs including relay, isolator, sounder and low frequency sounder bases that are UL listed for lowfrequency operation and comptywith NFPA 72 requirements for sleeping spaces forthe new SK-W Series of addressable detectors as well as previous generations. The standard 4' and 6" bases offer a plug-in detector base intended for use in intelligent systems, with screw terminals provided for power (+ and -), and remote annunciator connections. Communication takes place over the power (+ and —) lines. The 4" base offers a compact design while the 6' base provides compatibility with a wider range of junction boxes. The specialty bases support application driven requirements. These bases employ a separate mounting plate that installs on various junction box sizes to eliminate unsightly surface-mount boxes. The mounting plate enables pre-wiring of all connections to speed and simplify installation. /r \ \\ k'/ / B300-6-IV Standard 6' Base (Ivory) - 8300-6 Standard 6" Base (White) Relay bases (B224RB-WH/B224RB-IV) provide one form-C contact relay for control of B200S-WH Sounder auxiliary functions, such as door closure and elevator recall. The relay can operate in two Base (White) different modes (short and long delay). The activation time for the short delay is 60-100 milliseconds, while the activation time for the long delay is 6-10 seconds. A shunt with pin headers, located on the base PC board, is used to set the delay timing. t\ Isolator bases (B224B1-WH/B224B1-IV) allow the Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) loop to operate under fault conditions created from a short circuit preventing an entire communication loop from being disabled. The base isolates the section of the loop containing the short circuit from the remainder of the circuit and automatically restores when the fault is corrected. Sounder and low frequency (-LF) sounder bases are designed for new and existing dwelling unit applications. They offer maximum flexibility in installation, configuration, and operation to meet or exceed UL 268 and UL 464 requirements. The low frequency sounder bases are designed to meet the NFPA 72 sleeping space requirement to produce a fundamental frequency of 520 Hz +1- 10% with a square wave or its equivalent. Studies show that a lower frequency, centered around 520 Hz, is the most ideal to wake sleeping occupants, even those with mild to severe hearing loss. j III 1 i I'II"l II I ib 8501-WHITE Fla ngeless 8501-BL Flangeless 4' Base (White) 4" Base (Black) Bases enable quick and secure detector plug-in SEMS Screws provide easy wiring connection UL 268 compliant Support for 12-24AWG provides installation flexibility Multiple base formats meet application requirements Standard white color with ivory and black options Mechanical locking feature restricts removal of attached sensor head Specialty Base Features: Pre-wired mounting plate simplifies installation Application driven feature sets Sounder bases both UL268 and UL464 compliant The B200S sounder and LF sounder bases (B200S-WH/B200S-IV/ B224BI_WH: White, isolator detector base B200S-LF-WH/B200S-LF-IV) adopt the same address as the detector, but use a unique device type on the loop. The Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) can use that address to command an individual sounder - or a group of sounders - to activate. The command set from the FACP can be tailored to multiple event- driven tone outputs allowing selection of volume (75 or 85 dBA), tone (ANSI Temporal 3, ANSI Tempora[4, or March Time) and group. In addition, some FACPs will enable custom tone patterns. The B200S series sounder bases recognize the System Sensor synchronization protocol. This enables them to be used as a component of the general evacuation signal - along with other System Sensor AV appliances - when connected to a power supply or FACP output capable of generating the System Sensor synchronization pulses. The B200SR sounder and LF sounder bases (B200SR-WH/ B200SR-IV/B200SR-LF-WH/B200SR-LF-IV) are fully compatible with existing B501BH Series sounder base installations. The device enables users to select one of two B501-supported tones (ANSI Temporal 3 or Continuous) through a jumper. This unit senses smoke in the most challenging conditions, operating in airflow speeds of 100 to 4,000 feet per minute, temperatures of —4°F to 158°F, and a humidity range of 0 to 95 percent (non- condensing). A plug-in sensor head offers improved false alarm immunity and simple installation, testing, and maintenance. An improved cover design isolates the sensor head from the low-flow feature for simple maintenance. The InnovairFIex housing provides ample wiring space, a 3A-inch conduit knockout, and built-in short circuit protection to prevent damage to sensitive components during installation. High contrast terminal designations make wiring easy. With its 2:1 sensor-to-power capability, the power board of the D4120 may be used to monitor a second sensor, D4S, simultaneously (i.e., supply and return side). As many as 50 InnovairFIex detectors can be interconnected. When one unit senses smoke, all interconnected detectors will switch their relays; only the detector sensing smoke will go into alarm, thus pinpointing the fire source. An easy-access Test/Reset button makes it possible to test the unit with the cover on. Three DIP switches can be used to configure field selectable settings: cover tamper delay, number of sensors to be controlled, and shut down on trouble option. Each power board has two LEDs that can be used to indicate the status of connected sensors, and a quick reference imprinted on the cover explains the LED status indications (Standby, Maintenance, Trouble, and Alarm). The InnovairFIex duct smoke detector can be customized to meet local codes and specifications without additional wiring. The new lnnovairFlex product line is compatible with all previous Innovair models, including remote test accessories. WARNING Duct smoke detectors are NOT a substitute for open area smoke detectors; NOT a substitute for early warning detection; NOT a replacement for a building's regular fire detection system. Refer to NFPA 72 and 90A for additional information. lnnovairFlexTM Duct Smoke Detector Specifications The air duct smoke detector shall be a System Sensor lnnovairFlex° 04120 Photoelectric Duct Smoke Detector. Important Notes on 2:1 Sensor-to-Power Capability 2:1 sensor-to-power capability is not available for all InnovairFlex models. The feature is only available on the D4120 4-wire conventional models. 2:1 sensor-to-power capability can be enabled using one 04120 and one D4S, or two D4S and one 04P120. Important Interconnect Notes When using the interconnect feature, all interconnected units must be powered using the same independent supply. Polarity must be maintained throughout the interconnect wiring. Connect the INT+ terminal on unit 1 to the INT+ terminal on unit 2 and so on. Similarly, connect the INT/AUX— terminal on unit 1 to the INT/AUX- terminal on unit 2 and so on. Upto 50 D4120 units, 50 D4P120 units, or 50 units of combination may be interconnected. Up to 10 DH100ACDC units may be interconnected. Please note that each of the 9 DH100ACDC units interconnected may be replaced by three 04P120 units. Therefore, when using the interconnect feature a single DH100ACDC can drive either 9 DH100ACDCs or 27 D4120 units. * NOTE: Alarm can be reset only at the initiating device and not at the devices interconnected. 4 , - Accessories System Sensor provides system flexibility with a variety of accessories, including two remote test stations and several different means of visible and audible system annunciation.
