The 3G3070CF uses the HSPA network to ensure low-cost, high-speed and reliable alarm communica:ions and is compatible with control panels that communicate using the Oontact ID format. The 3G3070CF is complian: with the latest requiremens for Communications Methods as per UL864 and NFPA72 201C and 2013 Editions. It can be used in Fire Monitong applications as a single communications technology, in which case any failure cf the communications path shal be annunciated at the supervising station within 5 minutes (NFPA72 2010) or 1 hour (NFPA72 201 ai of the failure, or it can be used as part cf a multip,e communications technologies (for example in conjunction whh a DACT). When used as a back-up provision shall be made to monitor the integrity of each communication path and failure of any communications path shall be annunciated at the supervising station and at the protected premises within not more than 24 hours of the failure. How it Works The 3G3070CF can be used as either a So,e Communicator or as a Backup Communicator. When being used as a Sole Communicator the 3G3070CF will replace the phone line connection on the panel and as soon as it detects that an alarm needs to be transmitted it will send the alarm across the HSPA network immediately. When being used as a backup the communicator assesses the connection to the PSTN phone line, and only in the event of a phone line failure will it send all alarm traffic across the -ISPA network to the monitoring station. In instances where the control panel does not support Contact ID, the C From 'ryco Security Products 3G3070CF has inputs pre-set to transmit fire alarm, fire supervisory or system trouble. Alarm signals are transmitted directly without the need of a cleannghouse to the IP linecard of the monitoring station receiver (Sur-Gard® System l/ll/lll/IV/5). Activating & initializing the unit Activating and initializing the 3G3070 can be done using the automated telephone activation system (VRU), mobile interface or web-user interface provided by CONNECT 24. No special tools are required. UL Listing The 3G3070CF is UL listed under File $4019, Listing guide UO)O(, as a sole or backup communicator for Commercial Fire monitoring installations. When used a a sole communicator under NFPA72 2010 guidelines the 3G3070CF will send its heartbeat once every 97 seconds ensuring that three heartbeats will be received at the supervising station within the 300 second window. When used as a sole communicator under NFPA72 2013 guidelines the 3G3070CF will send its heartbeat once every 5 minutes to monitor connectivity with the supervising station within the 1 hour window. When used as a backup communicator the 3G3070CF will monitor the other communication method (DACT) and send a daily test transmission to the supervising station. The Duct Detectors are designed to prevent the recirculation or spread of smoke by air handling systems, fans, and blowers. Complete systems may be shut down via the building's fire alarm control panel (FACP) in the event of smoke detection. The MIX-DH3000 Series are Low-Flow Ionization and Photoelectric air duct smoke detectors that are capable of sensing smoke in air velocities from 100 to 4,000 feet per minute (0.5 to 20.32 m/sec). Low-flow technology can detect smoke at air speed velocities of 100 feet per minute or greater, while continuing the same reliable performance to 4,000 feet per minute. The MIX-DH3000 Series are designed and built to meet all local code requirements, as well as the NFPA and ICC standards regarding HVAC supply and return duct smoke detectors.
