1. Field verify the static pressure at the building fire sprinkler riser.
If the static pressure is equal to or greater than 100 psi, the maximum length of an
unsupported (no hanger) armover and drop to a pendent sprinkler below the ceiling is 12".
The hanger must also be of the type which resists upward motion.
If the static pressure is below 100 psi, the maximum unsupported length of the armover is
24". There is no requirement for resistance to upward motion for this hanger.
