Description
The PAD100-TRTI uses one (1) SLC loop address when monitoring
two (2) Class B circuits or one (1) Class A circuit. The PAD 100-TRTI
also provides two (2) Form C relay contacts. The module mounts
S either a 4" square or double gang box. The module is capable
monitoring two (2) separate Class B circuits making it ideal for
monitoring sprinkler waterfiow and valve tamper switches when they
are located in the same proximity. The PAD 100-TRTI includes one
red LED to indicate the module's status. In normal condition, the LED
flashes when the device is being polled by the control panel. When an
input is activated, the LED will flash at a fast rate.
Application
The PAD IOO-TRTI is compatible with Potter's IPA and AFC/ARC
series addressable fire alarm control panels. The PAD100-TRTI is
an interface module used to monitor dry contact devices such as
sprinkler waterfiow, valve tamper switches, or conventional pull
stations. The module is capable of monitoring two separate Class
B or one Class A circuits. The PAD 100-TRTI also provides two (2)
form C relay contacts.
Setting the Address
Each addressable SLC device must be assigned an address. The
address is set using the DIP switch located on the PAD lOO-TRTI. The
he PADIOO- TRTI is assigned a single device address, each input and
relay is identified as a sub-point of that single module address. For
example, if the address number is assigned as "8", the RLYI relay
will be "8.1", the RLY2 relay will be "8.2, the B input will be "8.3"
and the B2 input will be "8.4".
Before connecting a device to the SLC loop, take the following
precautions to prevent potential damage to the panel or device:
0
Power to the device is removed.
Field wiring is correctly installed.
3. Field wiring has no open or short circuits.

Duct smoke detector accessories add functionality to the duct
smoke detection system by allowing quick, convenient inspections
at eye level and effective audible and visible notification options. All
System Sensor duct smoke detectors and accessories are UL listed.
The APAI5I piezo annunciator, which replaces the APA451 with a
new, improved look, provides an audible alarm signal, a red LED to
indicate alarm status, and a green LED to indicate power status. It is
intended for use with System Sensor 4-wire conventional duct smoke
detector applications without a system control panel, to comply with
NFPA9OA.
The MHR and MHW SpectrAlert® Advance mini-horns feature
temporal or continuous tones at high and low volume settings.
Their small footprint allows mounting to single-gang back boxes for
applications where a small device is desired.
The RAIOOZ and RAIOOZA remote annunciators are designed
for both conventional and intelligent applications. Their red LED

Sescription
e IPA-60 is an analog/addressable releasing fire alarm system with a
total system capacity of 60 addresses. Additional capacity on the system
is achieved using multi-point SLC modules. The control panel utilizes
the exclusive Potter protocol that includes a complete line of sensors and
modules. Each SLC may be comprised of any combination of smoke
sensor, heat detectors or modules and allows for a total of 50 ohms of
impedance and may use any wire compliant with the National Electrical
Code (NEC).
The IPA-60 has a 5 Amp power supply with two Notification Appliance
Circuits (NACs) and two Input/Output (1/0) circuits. The NACs are rated at
3 Amps each and the I/Os are rated at I Amp each. Each output is regulated
and power limited. In addition, each output is uniquely programmable and
may be configured for steady signal, strobe synchronization, constant
power, door holder power, or releasing. The strobe synchronization
includes Potter/AMSECO, Gentex, System Sensor and Cooper/Wheelock
and with the exclusive Quadrasync each output may have a unique brand
and all strobes will flash together. The I/Os are designed for inputs such as
manual release stations and abort switches that will not require polling and
react nearly instantaneously.
The IPA-60 is listed for releasing of fire suppression systems. The
software allows cross zones, counting zones, and timers for suppression.
The system is capable of multiple release outputs across multiple hazards.
In addition, the PSN- 1000 may be used to extend releasing capability.
The NACs may be expanded using the PSN-1000 series intelligent power
supplies. Each PSN- 1000 adds another 10 Amps of power, 2 additional
input circuits and the IPA-60 will support up to 31 power supplies. The Aftstern will synchronize the strobes system wide. In addition, the PSN-
OOE has space to allow the installation of up to six expansion cards.
The cards mount on a stacker bracket that allows access to all SLC circuit
connections.

Description
The UD-2000 Digital Alarm Communicator Transmitter (DACT)
provides for up to two (2) phone lines for communication to a
monitoring station. The UD-2000 communicates using the SIA-
DCS or Ademco Contact ID protocols. When enabled, the DACT
automatically monitors each phone line or voltage and has the
ability to seize the line and connect with a remote receiver. Once the
communication is complete, the DACT will hang up.
The DACT is provided with terminal blocks for each phone line and
two RJ45 cords. In order for the DACT to work properly, it must be
installed on a plain old telephone service (POTS) line or equivalent
deemed by the authority having jurisdiction. The DACT must be
installed before any other equipment to ensure it can seize the phone
line.
Phone lines are high voltage and should be run in a separate conduit
from other circuits. The wire conductors connecting the DACT to the
phone system should be 26 AWG or larger.

Due to rapidly-evolving cellular
technologies, 2G/3G network sunsets
are already on the horizon - with
some having already been completed.
Now's the time to adopt and adapt.
Switch to LTE today, to offer
customers long-lasting investment
protection, and reduce your future
truck rolls.
The LE401OCF connects the alarm
control panel to the Cellular network
and reports alarm signals directly to
a monitoring station receiver
(Sur-Gard System l-IP/11/110V/5). The
LE401 OCF uses the Cellular network
to ensure low-cost, high-speed and
reliable alarm communications and is
compatible with control panels that
communicate using the Contact ID or
SIA (300 baud) format.
The LE401 OCF is compliant
with the latest requirements for
Communications Methods as per
UL864 and NFPA72 2010, 2013,
and 2016 editions. It can be used
in Fire Monitoring applications as a
single communications technology,
in which case any failure of the
communications path shall be
annunciated at the supervising station
within 5 minutes (NFPA72 2010)
or 1 hour (NFPA72 2013/2016)
of the failure, or it can be used as
part of a multiple communications
technologies (for example in
conjunction with a DACT). When
used as a back-up provision shall
be made to monitor the integrity of
each communication path and failure
of any communications path shall
be annunciated at the supervising
station and at the protected premises
within not more than 24 hours of the
failure.
How it Works
The LE401 OCF can be used as
either a Sole Communicator or as a
Backup Communicator. When being
used as a Sole Communicator the
LE401 OCF will replace the phone
line connection on the panel and
as soon as it detects that an alarm
needs to be transmitted it will send
the alarm across the Cellular network
immediately. When being used as a
backup the communicator assesses
the connection to the PSTN phone
line, and only in the event of a phone
line failure will it send all alarm traffic
across the Cellular network to the
monitoring station.
E Dec
From Tyco Security Products
In instances where the control panel does not support
Contact ID or SIA (300 baud), the LE401 OCF has inputs pre-
set to transmit fire alarm, fire supervisory or system trouble.
Alarm signals are transmitted directly without the need of
a clearinghouse to the IF linecard of the monitoring station
receiver (Sur-Gard® System I-IP/I1/I1I/IV/5).
Activating & Initializing the Unit
Activating and initializing the LE401 OCF can be done using the
website interface provided by C24 Communications.
No special tools are required.
Mobile Site for Easy Installation and
Comprehensive Maintenance
C24 Communications mobile site (m.connect24.com)
makes the installation a simple process and offers intuitive
trouble-shooting features, cutting down on time and cost
allocated to maintenance.
UL Listing
The LE401 OCF is UL listed under File S4019, Listing guide
UOXX, as a sole or backup communicator for Commercial Fire
monitoring installations. When used as a sole communicator
under NFPA72 2010 guidelines the LE401OCF will send
its heartbeat once every 97 seconds ensuring that three
heartbeats will be received at the supervising station within
the 300 second window. When used as a sole communicator
under NFPA72 2013/2016 guidelines the LE401 OCF will send
its heartbeat once every 5 minutes to monitor connectivity
with the supervising station within the 1 hour window. When
used as a backup communicator the LE401 OCF will monitor
the other communication method (DACT) and send a daily
test transmission to the supervising station.
CSFM Listing
The LE401OCF has been approved by the California State Fire
Marshal (CSFM) pursuant to Section 13144.1 of the California
Health and Safety Code.
