sign elevations containing the following information:
1. North arrow and scale.
2. Location of existing buildings or structures, parking areas, and vehicular access points to the
property.
3. Location of all existing and proposed signs for the property.
4. Distance to the property line(s) for all proposed freestanding sign(s).
5. Provide an elevation for all proposed sign(s) which specifies the following:
A. Dimensions and area for all existing and proposed sign(s).
B. Materials the sign(s) will be constructed of.
C. Source of Illumination.
D. Proposed sign copy.
APPLICANT MUST SUBMIT THREE (3) SETS OF SIGN/SITE PLANS, A COMPLETED
APPLICATION FORM, AND THE APPLICATION FEE.

for potential sight distance and visibility issues. Additional information must supplement
this application showing how the proposed signage will not encroach into the public right-
of-way or present a traffic hazard. Page 3 of 4 illustrates an example for what would be
required for such proposed signs.

APPLICATIONS
The following example illustrates the information that is required for all pole, monument, and
freestanding sign permit applications. Prior to approval, all such proposed signs must be reviewed
for potential issues by the Transportation Department, which will not allow signs to be approved
over the counter. Additional time will be required for on-site inspection.

Relationship to Streets: Signs shall be designed and located so as not to interfere with the
unobstructed clear view of the public right-of-way and nearby traffic regulatory signs of any
pedestrian, bicyclist or motor vehicle driver.

We have reviewed the fascia sign rendering package for the referenced store location. After reviewing the
rendering, the landlord is approving the proposed fascia sign with the following conditions and/or
requirements:
1. This approval is subject to City approval and/or requirements. Our office must approve any
alterations and/or deviations from this rendering. Obtain City permits and approvals for work.
Provide our office with copies of all City approvals and permits.
2. Care must be taken as not to damage the building wall framing during installation of fascia sign.
ANY DAMAGE FOUND TO THE BUILDING FRAMING WILL BE REPAIRED BY THE LANDLORD
AND CHARGED BACK TO THE TENANT.
3. Care must be taken as not to damage the buildlng fa~de stucco during Installation of the fascia
sign. ANY DAMAGE WILL BE REPAIRED BY THE LANDLORD AND CHARGED BACK TO THE
TENANT.
4. Protect building trellises below proposed sign from damage (if applicable). ANY DAMAGE TO THE
TRELLISES/FINIHSES WILL BE REPAIRED, REPLACED ANO/OR CLEANED BY THE
LANDLORD AND CHARGED BACK TO THE TENANT.
5. Sign must be connected to signage circuit provided.
6. Maintain the common area in a neat, safe and clean manner during the installation of the proposed
fascia sign.
7. Confonn with all redllne comments/adjustments on rendering.
8. The tenant Is responsible to see that all of their agents, vendors and/or contractor comply with all of
the conditions and/or requirements stated In this document, lease agreement and shopping center
slgnage criteria while manufacturing and installing this signage.
9. Proposed slgnage and signage installation must conform with shopping center slgnage criteria.

10. This approval is limited to ONE (1) building wall sign only. All other signage/storefront signage and
any other signage must be submitted to our office for landlord approval prior to installation.
11. Landlord reserves the right to impose additional conditions and/or requirements they see fit to
maintain the integrity of the building, common area of the shopping center and safety of the tenants,
employees and shopping center customers.
With these conditions and/or requirements agreed to, you are authorized to proceed with the proposed
tenant signage. Please feel free to contact our office with any questions you may have.
