Recommended Action
Receive an informational report on activities related to state-controlled beaches within Carlsbad.
Discussion
Staff will present an informational report on activities related to state-controlled beaches
within Carlsbad, including any updates provided by State of California Department of Parks &
Recreation staff. At the request of Commissioners Stark and Colby, the report will also provide
the anticipated schedules for four pending coastal nourishment projects: the Oceanside Harbor
Maintenance Dredging, the Agua Heidonda Lagoon Maintenance Dredging, the Batiquitos
Lagoon Maintenance Dredging, and the Regional Beach Sand Project III.
