A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION
Exhibit 2
WHEREAS, Commissioner Roy Meenes was appointed to the Planning Commission in February
2018 to fill the expired term of Commissioner Siekmann for a term ending in April 2022; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Meenes is eligible for reappointment; and
WHEREAS, a scheduled vacancy on the Planning Commission exists.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct,
2. The following Carlsbad resident is appointed to serve on the Planning Commission, for
a term ending in December 2026 to coincide with the term of the Mayor.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Carlsbad on
the 18th day of January 2022, by the following vote, to wit:
