Recommended Action
Receive a staff update on programming celebrating National Arts & Humanities Month.
Executive Summary
October is National Arts & Humanities Month (NAHM), the largest annual celebration for the arts
and humanities in the nation which was launched by Americans for the Arts more than 30 years ago.
Cultural Arts has planned performances, films and interactive visual arts events for the community
to deepen their experience and appreciation of the local artists working to bring more arts to daily
life.
Next Steps
Arts Commissioners are encouraged to view and participate in arts programming in October.
Fiscal Analysis
No additional city funding is being requested at this time.
