LETTER OF AUTHORIZATION TO OBTAIN A SIGN PERMIT PURPOSE:
All applications for sign permits must be submitted to the City of Carlsbad for review
and approved prior to permit issuance. Each application must include a site plan and/or
site sketch plan and all data necessary to show that the requirements of the Sign
Ordinance are met. The purpose of this form is to authorize CP Richard Signs to obtain
Sign Permits on behalf of the Property Owner.
By authorizing this letter, the Property Owner fully understands complete Ordinance
Compliance is the ultimate responsibility of the Property Owner.

Hello Kasey,
Thank you for submitting your application for a sign permit for 3207 GREY HAWK CT. We are writing
you to inform you of some revisions that are required for your submission. Please find the details
below.
1. Indicate on SITE PLAN the total square footage of the building location where the sign will be
going.
2. Confirm there are no additional wall signs that front the corridor of PALOMAR AIRPORT RD
a. If there is more than one wall sign please consider the following circumstances;
i. A building elevation must have a minimum of one hundred fifty lineal feet
in order to have more than one wall sign along that elevation
ii. The minimum spacing between wall signs along an elevation shall not be less
than seventy-five feet.
iii. The cumulative length of all wall sign(s) along any building elevation shall not
exceed one-third of the length of that same elevation.
