A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE PARKS & RECREATION
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Commissioner Jengi Martinez was appointed to the Parks & Recreation Commission
in October 2016, to fill the expired term of Commissioner Proulx for a term ending in December 2020;
and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Martinez was reappointed in January 2021, for a term ending in
December 2022; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Martinez is eligible for but does not wish to be reappointed; and
WHEREAS, a scheduled vacancy on the Parks & Recreation Commission exists.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following Carlsbad resident is appointed to serve on the Parks & Recreation
Commission, for a term ending in December 2026, to coincide with the term of the
Mayor, or until a replacement is appointed.
