CALL TO ORDER: 6:04 p.m.
ROLL CALL: Cortes-Torres, Manzano, Cole, Ydigoras. Absent: Nguyen-Cleary.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Led by Vice-Chair Cortes-Torres.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Minutes of the Regular Meeting held on Oct. 13, 2022.
Motion by Commissioner Manzano, seconded by Commissioner Cole to approve the minutes as
presented. Motion carried, 4/0/1 with Chair Nguyen-Cleary absent.
PUBLIC COMMENT: None.
DEPARTMENTAL REPORTS:
1. HOUSING COMMISSION JANUARY 2023 – JUNE 2024 WORK PLAN: Discuss and provide
feedback to staff regarding the January 2023 – June 2024 Housing Commission Work Plan
draft. (Staff contact: Todd Henderson, Interim Housing Program Manager)
Recommended Action: Discuss and provide feedback of the January 2023 – June 2024
Housing Commission Work Plan draft.
Commissioners discussed and provided feedback. Director Mills answered Commissioners
questions and made note of their comments.
COMMISSION COMMENTS:
• Commissioner Ydigoras requested that the Housing Commission review property
managers for future developments. Director Mills responded that the Housing
Commission does not have a role in overseeing private properties and resident complaints
should go through the proper channels.
STAFF COMMENTS:
• Director Mills wished everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
• Director Mills announced the next meeting date of Dec. 8, 2022.
ADJOURNMENT:
By proper motion, the Regular Meeting of the Housing Commission was adjourned at 6:48 p.m.
