SUBJECT: SDP 2018-0007/HDP 2018-0004/HMP 2018-0004/MS 2018-0007 (DEV2018-0099) –
VALLEY VIEW - Request for 1) adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration and
Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program; and 2) approval of a Site Development
Plan, Hillside Development Permit, Habitat Management Plan Permit and Minor
Subdivision for the development of a 11,404-square-foot, 31-foot-tall office building on a
vacant 6.34-acre lot (APN 209-040-43) on the east side of Palmer Way, southeast of the
intersection of Palmer Way and Cougar Drive. The site is within Local Facilities
Management Zone 5. The potential environmental effects of the project were analyzed
as part of the Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) and Mitigation Monitoring and
Reporting Program (MMRP) prepared for the project pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section
15070. Mitigation measures proposed as part of the MMRP reduce all environmental
effects to a level of less than significant.
I.RECOMMENDATION
That the Planning Commission CONTINUE the item to a date to be determined, at the request of the
project applicant.
