A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO THE SAN
DIEGO ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS SHORELINE PRESERVATION
WORKING GROUP
WHEREAS, San Diego Association of Governments (SAN DAG) is requesting that the City Council
appoint a primary representative and an alternate representative to serve on the SANDAG Shoreline
Preservation Working Group; and
WHEREAS, SAN DAG requests that the appointments be made no later than the first regular City
Council meeting in 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1.That the above recitations are true and correct.
2.That the following Carlsbad City Council Members are appointed as Primary and
Alternate Members to the San Diego Association of Governments Shoreline
Preservation Working Group, for a term ending in December 2023 or until replacements
are appointed:
Primary Member: Council Member Luna
Alternate Member: Mayor Blackburn
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Joint Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, and the Carlsbad Municipal Water District of the City of Carlsbad, California, on
the 15th day of February, 2023, by the following vote, to wit:
