A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE COMMUNITY-POLICE
ENGAGEMENT COMMISSION
WHEREAS, on Dec. 6, 2022, the City Council established the Community-Police
Engagement Commission by adopting Ordinance Nos. CS-441 and Resolution No. 2022-275; and
WHEREAS, there are five vacancies on the newly established Community-Police Engagement
Commission with staggered terms ending in December 2024 and December 2026; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1.The above recitations are true and correct.
2.The following Carlsbad resident is appointed to serve on the Community-Police
Engagement Commission, for a term ending in December 2024, to coincide with the
term of the District 4 Council Member, or until a replacement is appointed.
