To Whom it May Concern:
Excel Engineering reviewed several field surveys perfonned by Pasco Laret Suiter &
Associates relating to the two installed bioretention basins on the above-referenced
project. The field surveys consisted of the following:
-Basin bottom excavation (Provided on October 27 2020)
-Top ofrock placement (Provided on October 27 2020)
-Finjs}1 surface and pipe works (Provided on October 29 2020 and ovember 23,
2020)
-Final Ba in installation with landscape complete (Provided on o ember 23 ,
2020)
On ovember 20, 2020 a representative of this firm conducted a final field inspection of
the Bio Filtration basin . The purpose of this inspection was to visually confirm that the
ba ins were built to plan that the plantings were in place, the inlets, the overflow outlets
orifice plates, and the storage depths were correct. See attached photos of multiple stages
of construction for both BMP A and B.
In all cases, the bioretention basins' grades were found to be constructed in substantial
conformance with the approved grading plans for the City of Carl bad.
