A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, IDENTIFYING ONE CARLSBAD RESIDENT AS THE CITY'S
PRIMARY CANDIDATE AND ONE RESIDENT AS AN ALTERNATE CANDIDATE
FOR NOMINATION AND APPOINTMENT TO THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY
PALOMAR AIRPORT ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has determined that one resident
shall be identified as the city's primary candidate and one resident as an alternate candidate for the
Supervisor from the Fifth Supervisorial District to consider for nomination to serve on the San Diego
County Palomar Airport Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, appointment of the city's primary or alternate candidate will require the approval of
the San Diego County Board of Supervisors; and
WHEREAS, each member of the committee shall serve a term which shall run concurrently with
the term of the Supervisor who nominated them to the committee. The term shall expire on the date
of expiration of the term of the nominating Supervisor, or at such time as the nominating Supervisor
ceases to hold office, whichever first occurs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following Carlsbad residents are identified as the city's primary and alternate
candidates for the Supervisor from the Fifth Supervisorial District to consider for
nomination to serve on the Palomar Airport Advisory Committee, subject to approval of
the San Diego County Board of Supervisors, for a term coinciding with the term of the
San Diego County Supervisor who nominated them:
