As part of the plant establishment period, the Contractor shall submit for approval of the Engineer a watering schedule program for each irrigation controller not less than 40 working days prior to the completion of the plant establishment pe<iod. The instructions to be given to the Engineer during the plant establishment period on the use and adjustment of the installed electric automatic controllers shall be performed and the approved watering schedule program shaJI be implemented within the last 10 working days of the plant establishment period. Such programming shall not. relieve the Contractor of his responsibility to apply sufficient water as-oonditions may require to keep the soil and plant roots moist.
