A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO THE CARLSBAD TOURISM
BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, Carlsbad Tourism Business Improvement District (CTBID) Advisory Board M ember
Hector Becerra's term expired in January 2023; and
WHEREAS, the CTBID Advisory Board has one scheduled vacancy with a term limit of January
2025;and
WHEREAS, Board Member Becerra is eligible for and seeking reappointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. The following individual is appointed to serve on the Carlsbad Tourism Business
Improvement District Advisory Board, with a term limit of January 2025, or until a
replacement is appointed:

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad on the 22nd day of August , 2023, by the following vote, to wit:
