I. Our only comment is that the underground entrance to the building may not be in conformance
with the Carlsbad policy regarding entrance to the building above grade. The underground
installation is done by others, and was not a part of this review. This can be field verified to
conform, and may result in revisions being required. No resubmittal should be required.

Here is a sketch of the hanger detail at Pac Ridge Gym that we talked about yesterday. There really is no way
to install a secondary hanger or splay wire due to the other z-purlins being over 5' away so we ran the lines
tight to the I-beams and stiff-rodded the all thread. This installation does not allow the line to move either up
or down or side to side since the line is tight to the I-beam. Please discuss it with Greg in your Tuesday
meeting as we talked about and let us know if this installation is acceptable to Carlsbad. We also added the
secondary hangers at all the office areas as we discussed.
