RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Receive donation of one hundred nine thousand six hundred eighty-six dollars and eighty-three
cents ($109,686.83) from Lee Elson and Maria Elson Trust and recommend acceptance by City
Council.
ITEM EXPLANATION:
On March 27, 2013, the Carlsbad Senior Center was presented with a donation in the amount
of $109,686.83 from the Lee Elson and Maria Elson Trust. The Carlsbad Senior Center was
one of three organizations who were recipients of donations funded from the distribution of this
trust.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The $109,686.83 has been deposited into the Senior Contribution Revenue Fund #143-4567-
5651 to benefit Senior Center programs and activities.
