Accepted, approved and filed the July 25, 2013 commission meeting summary report.

2. AGENDA ITEM# 0913-2 NEEDS ASSESSMENT AND COMPEHENSIVE ACTION PLAN (ACTION)
The Commission received a report of the Needs Assessment and Comprehensive Action Plan.
Trudy Stapleton and Ken Pace, both Carlsbad residents, addressed the Commission regarding
their interest in Pickleball courts in Carlsbad.
Doren Curtiss, a Carlsbad resident, spoke regarding the completion of the tennis courts and
community center at Poinsettia Park.
3. AGENDA ITEM# 0913-3 SENIOR CENTER REPORT (INFORMATION)
Commission received a Senior Center report from Recreation Area Manager, Kevin Granse.
