A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORN IA, APPOINTING MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO THE SAN
DIEGO ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, California Public Utilities Code Section 132351.l(d)&(f) requires that the City Council
appoint a primary representative and alternates to the San Diego Association of Governments
(SAN DAG) Board of Directors; and
WHEREAS, SAN DAG requests that the appointments be made no later than the first regular City
Council meeting in 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, as
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following Carlsbad City Council Members are appointed to the San Diego
Association of Government Board of Directors, for a term ending in December 2024 or
until replacements are appointed:
Primary Member: Melanie Burkholder ------------
First Alternate Member: Priya Bhat-Patel --~-------
Second Alternate Member: Keith Blackburn
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Joint Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, and the Carlsbad Municipal Water District of the City of Carlsbad, California, on
the 12th day of December, 2023, by the following vote, to wit:
