CALL TO ORDER: 5:30 p.m.

Absent: Commissioner Bartels and Commissioner Sebahar
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Commissioner Gisbert led the Pledge of Allegiance.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Minutes of the Regular Meeting held on Sept. 18, 2023
Motion by Chair Winston, second by Commissioner Sander, to approve the minutes as presented.
Motion carried, 4/1/2 (Gisbert -Abstain; Bartels, Sebahar -Absent).
PRESENTATIONS: None.
CONSENT CALENDAR: None.
PUBLIC COMMENT:
Mary Lucid spoke about the desire for more activities at the Senior Center
PUBLIC HEARINGS: None.
DEPARTMENTAL REPORTS:
1. PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT REPORT-Receive a report on recently completed and
upcoming Parks & Recreation Department activities, donations, and grants, as well as other
topics of interest. (Staff Contact: Mick Calarco, Parks & Recreation Department)
Recommendation: Receive the report.
Parks & Recreation Director Kyle Lancaster and Parks Services Manager Todd Reese
introduced the item and reviewed a PowerPoint presentation (on file in the Office of the City
Clerk).
Commission received the report.
COMMISSION COMMENTARY AND REQUESTS FOR CONSIDERATION OF MATTERS:
This portion of the agenda is for the Commission to make brief announcements, brief reports of
their activities and requests for future agenda items.

DIRECTOR'S COMMENTS:
Parks & Recreation Director Kyle Lancaster mentioned bringing the annual work plan to next
month's meeting and incorporating action items from the Parks & Recreation Department Mas-
ter Plan into the annual work plan.
ANNOUNCEMENTS: None.
ADJOURNMENT: Chair Winston adjourned the meeting at 6:19 p.m.
