REQUESTED ACTION: Consider adoption of a Traffic Safety Commission Resolution of
Commendation for Robert T. Johnson, Jr.
BACKGROUND:
On June 30, 2010, Robert T. Johnson, Jr. retired from the City of Carlsbad. Mr. Johnson
served in various capacities at the city for over 24 years including Traffic Engineer,
Deputy City Engineer of the Transportation Division and ultimately, City Engineer.
DATA:
The Commission has expressed a desire to honor Mr. Johnson for his service to the
Traffic Safety Commission with a Resolution of Commendation (attached).
RECOMMENDATION:
Action to be taken as determined by the Traffic Safety Commission.
NECESSARY CITY COUNCIL ACTION:
No City Council action required.
