May 6, 2C15 Attn: David Rick City of Carlsbad Land Development Engineering 1635 Faraday Avenue Carlsbad CA 92008 Re: Pryor Residence at 5243 Shore Drive Dear David: The proposed project is designed to provide drainage associated with the new construction to flow east to Shore Drive in lieu of flowing west to the Environmentally Sensitive Area. The existing minor drainage flowing west via an existing storm drain pipe is reduced from the Pre- Developed (Existing) condition to the Post-Developed condition. This letter is provided in lieu of a Drainage Report since there is a negligible increase in overall flow due to a slight increase in impervious surface area with the proposed project.
